Golden Glove Award of FIFA World Cup : Previous Winners (1930 to 2018)

Every year after the FIFA Football World Cup gets over, the Golden Glove Award is given to the best goalkeeper of the tournament.

The FIFA Technical Study Group recognises the top goalkeeper of the tournament based on the player’s performance throughout the final competition.

The award was formally introduced with the name Lev Yashin Award in 1994, in honor of the late Soviet goalkeeper and then in 2010 it was rechristened to Golden Glove Award.

But prior to 1994, every time after the tournamnt got over, the FIFA Technical Study Group recognises the top goalkeeper of the tournament since the first FIFA World Cup in 1930.
